« on: November 20, 2011, 02:35:34 PM »

I try to take a minimal approach to cleaning tools in my range bag.I use a flex coated cable feeding from barrel to breach feeding cable to chamber wet patch pull out wet chamber let soak then pull brush, pull a couple of patches with CLP then pull a mop with CLP then attack BC assy. What do you guys think as I value your opinion? Shoot on bros.

ARs are not normally bench guns and the chamber/throat gets abused in normal use when compared to bolt guns. IMHO bore guides are of little value for an AR.  Plus there is no need to worry about solvents and such getting in the FCG of an AR.
