Don's new toy
« on: June 12, 2011, 05:29:42 PM »

This is the new toy.  Picked it up in AZ two weeks ago and finally got it to the range.  Took most of the sighting stuff off of my Stag to play with it, and will replace the stag stuff.

From the back:

Magpul ACS with the large pad
Magpul Single Point Sling Adapter
B.A.D.A.S.S Ambi-Safety (going to try the 45 degree one next)
Medium Ergo Grip
Magpul BUIS (zero-ed to 50m)
EOTech G23.FTS Magnifier
EOTech 522 (zero-ed to 100m)
Magpul Carbine Length Handguard
Magpul Short Vertical Grip
YHM Gas Block Front Sight

What is not showing is the Troy Ambi-Mag Release for us lefties

Note the Magpul Magazine, I've got 12 of them

I'm thinking of putting everything on top back on the Stag and going with a nice scope and a set of offset irons.

Shot over 100 rounds through it today and the shoulder can really tell.

That's a good looking build, man - nice job.   <thumbsup>  Did you have to fight the MagPul MOE handguard onto the rifle?  I've been wondering if it just drops right in there or if it's a chore.

The only problem with the Magpul handguards iss that I could only puut their rails on the bottom, there wasn't enough room for the side ones.

I really like this handguard and will be taking the rails off of my Stag and putting one on it.
