If this group buy should happen what type would we be buying? I'm assuming that we'd all have to buy the same.

i need one soon. we all know JSE's prices and i was leaning to wards that option. if the group buy was for one that would have serations for the forward assist. do we even know if those are functional on a DPMS A3 upper? anyway, thats where i stand. id expect to pay a little for one with the extra machine process. please let me know

The forward assist on a .308 AR won't grab the serrations on the BCG, but the forward assist is functional - it grabs the shoulder on the .308 BCG where it goes from smaller to larger.  You can seat the bolt in the extension with the forward assist.

There's so much more chambering force in a .308 AR over a 5.56 AR, though - if the BCG doesn't fully seat on a live round, something else is wrong.

If the price is right and it is compatible with a RRA, I might get one.

I'd say with the interest expressed we'd have enough interested to purchase at least 25 items if not more. I think that would definitely qualify for a quantity discount.

yep, Im working on it. You guys will just have to be patient. For those that need something now its pretty hard to beat this price on the phosphated unit or call Fulton Armory for a chrome unit

We're getting pretty close to the target of "25 for sure" for the attempt at a Group Buy  - but we might need to revisit this and see how many are still committed now.  I'm still in for another one.    <thumbsup>

yeah, if and when the time comes Ill send out a newsletter and also announce it on the main site. I just hope we can do substantially better than the JSE prices. A small difference is not worth it.

Hey guys, So far there is little interest from anyone on the manufacturing end. If you need something now jse has the chrome version in stock for $250.
