Don’t buy one . I got one . Bent the firing pin and broke the bolt face in under 70 rds. And I can’t find parts anywhere, if anyone can help me with that it would be greatly appreciated.
I bought one approx three years ago. Had to send it back due to issues with trigger. I was getting multiple discharges with a single trigger pull. Not a welcomed occurrence at the range where I’m a member. DPMS made it good. The accuracy is poor. I own four DPMS rifles, and this one is useless beyond 100 yards, and it’s a .308!! While cleaning it just the other day, a freakin pin fell out. I found it to be the pin that holds the extractor in place. I stuck it back in, but now I’m afraid to shoot it. I too am looking to stock up on pins, springs and extractors, but being a proprietary product, parts are not to be found anywhere.
Unfortunately unless someone resurrects or copies the platform parts will remain an issue with DPMS no longer in existence. It’s sad because Freedom Group ruined every company they acquired.
