Well Aero Precision has just what you need in their M5E1 6.5 Creedmoor Assembled Upper Receivers. These receivers fit most 308AR’s that follow the DPMS pattern. The Aero Precision M5E1 uppers are a very slick design that eliminates a barrel nut by implementing a proprietary upper receiver and M-LOK handguard system. The 6.5 Creedmoor chambered upper are available in 16″, 18″, 20″ and 22″ barrel lengths.

From Aero Precision, the DPMS Gen 1 pattern 308 AR 16”, 18″, 20″ and 22″ Assembled Upper Receivers. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, the upper is finished with black anodizing. This upper does not come with the charging handle or bolt carrier group, allowing the user to personalize their upper receiver even more! The Aero Precision Assembled Upper Receiver also features:

Aero Precision 308AR OEM Rifle – As I have previously mentioned on our AR-15 site I really like the concept of these Aero Precision OEM rifles. They consist of completely assembled rifles without sights, buttstock, and handguard at cost savings greater than the sum of the omitted parts. Basically we are not forced to buy parts we never use. Well, today I decided it was time to see what was going on at our best supporter Brownells and low and behold they have a ” Brownells Exclusive” Aero Precision 308 AR OEM rifle. Priced right about the price of the no-frills least expensive 308AR rifles from other manufacturers. In my opinion, the Aero Precision 308AR OEM Rifle is a better quality value.

The Aero Precision 308AR OEM Rifle is not available directly from Aero Precision and is currently available as a preorder from Brownells. Any visitors purchasing one of these please join the 308AR forum and share your build results and pictures with the group.
